New Addition to the MadeYaScream.com Team
by Snoopy on Feb.25, 2012, under News & Events
A message to you from Miranda:
Greetings fellow haunt lovers! I am Miranda Steingraber and I’m pleased to be joining the madeyascream.com talented team! I’m a quirky quasi talented photographer with a passion for the beauty in the macabre.
As a child I loved to sneak and watch episodes of adams family and the munsters. My love of dark things stemmed from that and books such as the phantom of the opera. (I wanted to be christine daae since I was in 6th grade)
I’m so excited to bring my talents to this team that works so hard on promoting haunts and the brilliant work they do!
Here are some examples of Miranda’s awesome work.

“www dot Forsaken”, A Poem By: J. Nathan Couch
by Snoopy on Feb.19, 2012, under News & Events
I stand here in the open air.
The Wraiths infiltrate my every pore.
And I am taken aback
by the thought of the act
that left me crying like a child
there, upon the floor.
My soul cries out for sweet release
but it chokes on the rotten meat
of that which you eat
and turn into what I adore.
I am stricken sick and my Wrath refrains,
the mask remains, as I gag like a violated whore.
You walk beside me
and just behind me,
so you can lead me without being seen.
I cannot drive and I scream, then it dies,
the echo swallowed up by an ocean’s roar.
My mind ventures onto the thought of dentures,
and what I’ll have left by the time your strings are cut.
The Wraiths I cast out.
They I can no longer afford.
My Wrath refrains no more.
My soul coughs up what should be abhorred.
The Waifs surround,
a Waif I am,
I sit here crying upon the floor.
Originally from Cleveland, Georgia, I have lived in Wisconsin since 2005. I currently live in West Bend. I am an unpublished writer/poet with a love of mythology and folklore, as well as fantasy fiction. My own work includes both fiction (usually urban fantasy or magical realism), non-fiction (usually biographical essays), and dark poetry, with a glimmer of light beneath (most of the time). I’m currently writing a non-fiction book on the paranormal, and I’m a regular contributor to Wisconsin Sickness.com.
